Yokohama Business

We had to head to Yokohama yesterday to take care of some business. The first picture is a row of tiny little drinking bars. This street (next to a river) was lined with them. This area is also supposed to be bad with homeless people. There was a policeman or two standing about every two or three blocks. Waiting to cross the street I saw one. Coming from a small city in Oklahoma, I haven't really seen my share of homeless people in action. Yeah, we have the regular people that are constantly in the mall or at the library just hanging out, but I'm pretty sure they at least have a cot at the shelter to sleep in. This guy I saw was digging through a trash can next to a drink vending machine. When he'd find a can, he'd down whatever was left in it. In elementary school, the last drink was 90% spit. That might be preferable to whatever was left in these cans. Dogs have a better life than this guy. They at least have somebody following them around with a doggy bag.
