Ski ga suki! Day 1
The hallway outside our room. Before I went in, these doors gave the impression of several small, private rooms, as opposed to one large room. Where are my shoes?
We left the house to go on my first ski trip about 8 pm. Then we took a shuttle bus at 9 pm to the bigger bus station in Tokyo. From about 10pm to 4am we were enroute to Fukushima. After getting plenty of rest on the bus (as any of you Greyhounders can attest to) we were herded into a large tatami room (see above, the top picture). This was some kind of community room that was unbearably hot. People milled about, played cards, slept (and snored), or like me, rolled from one side to the other sweating.

As a former "greyhounder" I do know about the wonderful sleep and total relaxation you can get on a charter bus..(plenty of sarcasim there).....Troy
:Your shoes are on your feet you silly boy.....
Do you remember your first greyhound experience on a "fun" trip to Abilene? 18 hours to get from Muskogee to there. I was drugged on dramamine most of the way and sat drooling in my sleep, next to strangers. You didn't have very long legs then so you probably were okay. You probably also had Han Solo or Chewbaca to play with.
Troy-san, you are a former greyhounder and future Limousine Busser! You are in for the ride of your life!
And I do remember some of my first greyhound trip. Well ok, just a little token that came out of a machine in the Abilene bus station. And did i get a sunburn?
